Shelbey Leco is a local New Orleanian native, who enjoys mixed media. Her style developed at an early age, with the help of her grandmother. Leco loved coloring, but she went through the crayons very quickly. Her grandmother taught her how to fill in negative space with designs and patterns with pen. This simple act, translated in to Leco’s work with colorful patterns and designs.
