Elisa A. Garza is a poet, editor, and writing teacher. Her books include Regalos (Lamar University Literary Press), Between the Light / entre la claridad, and Written in the Body (both from Mouthfeel Press). Her poems have recently appeared in American Journal of Nursing, Ars Medica, The Acentos Review, and Huizache, who nominated her for the Pushcart Prize.
